REVIEW: A BUBBLE BATH THAT TOOK ME BACK - AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE ROYALTY
I received a PR drop with some spoils… Satiskin Luxurious Bubble Bath. What’s more, it came in two variants – the moisturising Cocoa Butter and the Luxurious Silk Crème Bath. Now, I was quickly excited after opening the box because Cocoa Butter is so nostalgic to me. My mother used to love it back in the day, so we always used Cocoa Butter-scented lotion growing up. That’s the first of the bubble baths I tried – and I loved it. It took me right back.
Not only did it smell incredible – warm, rich, and comforting – but it also left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The bubbles were generous without being over the top, and the scent lingered long after I’d gotten out of the bath. It's the kind of product that turns a regular soak into a mini self-care moment.

Now, while I was already happy with the first one I tried, I was curious about the second bottle – one I hadn’t seen before. And can we talk about the name? “Luxurious Silk Crème Bath” – it had me at luxurious. I love luxury (okay… who doesn’t?). And the moment I poured it in, I felt like I was about to step into something truly indulgent. And I wasn’t wrong. It honestly felt like I was bathing in milk.
The texture is creamy and silky, and it made the water feel velvety against my skin. The scent is soft, powdery, and elegant – like that clean, fresh-out-the-spa vibe. It gave me that "soft life" energy – the kind of bath where you light candles, put on a playlist, and forget about your to-do list.
I’ll be honest – I haven’t used bubble baths in ages. Mostly because of my sensitive skin. I’ve also been cautious about how they affect pH balance (you know what I mean, ladies). But when I heard that these are pH balanced and gentle on the skin, I figured I’d give them a try. And you know what? I’m really glad I did.
My son had never used a bubble bath before – mostly because I hadn’t bought any since having him. His favourite part? He says it makes it way more fun (and easier) to wash the tub afterwards. So that’s a win in his books too.
