CANON SOUTH AFRICA EMPOWERS EDUCATION, ONE PRINT AT A TIME

For many teachers in under-resourced schools, printing worksheets, classroom activities, and assessment papers is not always straightforward. Limited access to reliable printing equipment can make everyday teaching more difficult, creating an additional challenge for educators who are already working with constrained resources.

To help address these challenges, Canon South Africa's Imaging Technologies & Communications Group (ITCG) has launched Canon Prints the Future, a community initiative that will donate at least two printers every month to underprivileged schools and education-focused non-profit organisations across South Africa.

Running until November 2026, the programme will see a total of 12 printers donated, helping schools and organisations improve access to the printed learning materials that support both educators and learners. From worksheets and classroom activities to assessments and examination papers, these resources play an important role in creating meaningful learning opportunities every day. Through this initiative, Canon is committed to helping bridge the education gap.
